TRON UPRISING: Behind the scenes

LOTUS PROJECT: New image released

The Lotus LMP2 team released another angle of my work. The front end looks closer to the final car, the graphics are slightly improved. Tire outfit Dunlop. Assigned numbers are 31 & 32.

TRON UPRISING: Light Cycle

PRESS: LA Times mentions me for vehicle designs in Tron: Uprising. No new images, trailer clip is a few months dated. The show is being readied to air sometime summer this year. I have seen it and think its totally cool. I keep you posted. The article.

INSPIRATION SHOOT: Kings Of The Hammers

The 'Kings Of The Hammers' is an off-road race that combines desert racing and rock crawling, first held in 2007. Competitors are so called Ultra 4 cars, capable of speeds over 100 miles per hour for the desert sections, but still contain gear ratios as low as 100 to 1 for technical rock crawling. This Ultra 4 class is unlimited, and every vehicle is customed fabricated by each team.

INSPIRATION: King Of The Hammers

Took a trip to the desert to get inspired by crazy off road machinery. This one here I didn't catch moving, but it left quite some visual impression. My photography upload from the 'King Of The Hammers' event will follow soon.

F1: HRT not to run Cosmic Colors Theme in 2012

The new management of Hispania Racing F1 decided to not carry its 2011 color styling into the 2012 season.
Simon: "Last year was the season when its striking and provocative red-white look propelled the young back marker team instantly into the spotlight of world-wide media and into the hearts of its crew and fans. I am thankful for this opportunity. I wish the new management all the best for the future."

EVENT: 'Captain America' at ADG award show 2012

'Captain America' was nominated for best Production Design at the Art Directors Guild Awards, and nomineed production designer (and previous academy award winner) Rick Heinrichs invited us to join him at the award show at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where weeks before the Golden Globes were hosted. 'Harry Potter' took the win. It was a great night.
